With 20 years in the beauty industry, I specialize in bridal hair, dimensional color, and precision cutting. As an education-first stylist, I believe in lifelong learning—constantly training, mentoring, and sharing knowledge to elevate both the craft and the community around me.
As a mother of three, I balance entrepreneurship and family with intention and grace, bringing empathy, professionalism, and a calm, supportive presence to every guest. From timeless bridal styling to modern, lived-in color and tailored cuts, I’m committed to creating polished, wearable looks rooted in care, technique, and education.

I’m Chantal, co-founder of Isla Studio Beauty Bar—my happy place for all things glow! I’ve been in the beauty world for eight years now, and I can honestly say my clients feel like family. I love meeting new faces just as much as I love seeing my OG girls walk back through the door. The vibe here is all about good energy, big smiles, and leaving you feeling like your best, most confident self.
I’ll be holding down the fort here at our West Chester location as we continue to expand Isla, and I couldn’t be happier to do so. This studio is home, and sharing it with all of you means everything to me.
Whether you’re coming in for a bronzy, glowy makeup look, the perfect spray tan for a big life moment, or just to chat makeup techniques (one of my favorite things ever!), I’m here for it. Makeup has always been my passion—weddings, special events, or just-for-fun glam, I love it all. Mikayla McCune
I’m Mikayla, co-founder of Isla Studio, and my passion has always been helping people feel beautiful inside and out. I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2017, specializing in makeup and spray tans, and I love being part of life’s special moments—wedding days, big events, or simply giving someone the confidence boost they need.
One of my favorite parts of this work is the relationships I build. I love connecting with my clients, many of whom become lifelong clients—and even friends. From engagement photos to weddings, pregnancy announcements to family sessions, being part of those milestones is something I never take for granted.
I’m committed to continuing education, growing my skills, and always offering the best possible experience for our guests. Creating a warm, relaxing environment where every person feels valued and seen will always be at the heart of what I do.

Your tan will be at its best for the first week following your appointment, & will gradually start to fade. You can extend the life of your tan by using proper moisturizers and body washes that your spray tan artist recommends!

We always recommend getting sprayed for an event 2 days prior! For example, if you have a wedding on Saturday then we recommend getting sprayed Thursday!

While all of our products are safe to use during pregnancy, we always recommend asking your doctor beforehand!

No! The spray tan solutions do NOT have any SPF in them and do not prevent you from getting sunburn. We highly suggest you use spray tan safe sunscreen when going out in the sun. SunBum Mineral Sunscreen lotion is the safest sunscreen for your spray tan.

While every persons tooth enamel is different, our teeth whitening products usually cause little to no sensitivity. There are products that you can use to help prevent sensitivity after your appointment, and any mild sensitivity that you may experience will dissipate within 24-48 hours at the most.

Shave & exfoliate at LEAST 12-24 hours prior to your spray tanning appointment, not immediately before.
Use an oil-free exfoliant. (NO DOVE SOAP)
Do NOT apply any products to your skin after this shower. Products will create a barrier between your skin and your spray tan. This includes deodorant, makeup, oils, perfume, lotion, etc.
Do NOT wear tight clothing, light colored clothing, hats, or jewelry to your appointment. Dark colored loose clothing is best.
Make sure to get all nail, waxing, eyelash and facial appointments at least 48 hours BEFORE your spray tan appointment.

Wait the given amount processing time until showering. (Your spray tan artist will go over this with you during your appointment)
Do not do any activities that could potentially mess with the development of your tan. (Ex. Swimming, working out, sweating, doing dishes, etc.)
Do not apply anything to your skin before your shower. This includes lotion, makeup, perfume, etc.
Your rinse should be with warm water only. No soaps, shampoo, conditioner, shaving, body scrub, etc. Make sure to rinse all bronzers off until the water runs clear, and guide the bronzers off your body with your hands to prevent streaks.
